An instant family heirloom. The Grandma's Attic Sleigh Bed reminds us of that warm welcoming feel that we remember from visits to our grandparents' homes. We had the idea to create that same relaxing inviting impression for the bedroom setting and this is the result.The graceful and traditional lines of a sleigh bed are elegantly complemented by the scrolling oak overlaid molding which adds to the sense of flow and gives this bed the comforting feel of an antique.Fluted pilasters with shaped overlays and decorative moldings on the head and footboards give this sleigh bed a familiar vintage look. The warm antique finish instills the entire room with a deeply relaxing presence.We construct each sleigh bed to last a lifetime by using solid oak and select oak veneers. All frames moldings pilasters and posts are crafted of solid oak. Our intensive finishing process includes two protective topcoats burnishing and hand-padding.
